Management

The success of ASIT Solutions projects is due to their organization. Quality management is an integral part of the general project management process

  • Project planning
  • Project control and monitoring
  • Risk management
  • Quantitative project management

Planning includes the estimation of the product and task characteristics, the definition of the resources required, the definition of the roles and responsibilities of the project participants, schedule working out, as well as identification and analysis of the potential risks.

The following tasks are carried out in the process of planning in ASIT Solutions:

  • Estimation (the estimation of the project scope, products and characteristics of the tasks, the definition of the project life cycle, the estimation of efforts and cost).
  • Project process definition (the tailoring of the defined standard project execution process, the selection of the project life cycle model, identification of appropriate procedures and standards).
  • Project plan development (definition of budget and schedule, project risks identification, plan of the project data management, resource plan, and plan of training).
  • Commitment to the plan (plan analysis by all the stakeholders, resource co-ordination, definition of the roles and distribution of the obligations of the participants)

Control and monitoring are important to receive impartial information about the project status. The project plan is the basis of all control and monitoring activities as we monitor progress and deliverables. In ASIT Solutions the following tasks are carried out in the process of monitoring and control:

  • Monitoring the progress of the project against the plan (project risks monitoring, analysis of the process of the project execution, analysis of the fulfillment of the project stages)
  • Corrective actions (problem analysis, assumption of the corrective actions, carrying out of the corrective actions).

The purpose of the risk management in ASIT Solutions is the identification of the potential problems before they become apparent, planning and carrying out of the appropriate actions to mitigate and/or prevent the negative consequences of such problems. Risk management includes not only technical problems but also external and internal risk sources concerned with the costs and schedule.

Risk management process at ASIT Solutions includes the following tasks:

  • Preparation for the risk management (definition of risk sources and categories, risk parameter definition, working out of the strategy of the risk management).
  • Risk analysis and identification (risk identification, evaluation, categorization and prioritization of the risks). Risk mitigation (working out of the plans for risk mitigation, execution of plans for risk mitigation).

The definition of the project goals in the field of quality and characteristics of the process is an integral part of the quantitative management in ASIT Solutions. The process of the quantitative management in ASIT Solutions includes the execution of the following tasks:

  • Quantitative project management (the definition of the project goals, the selection of the process elements for statistical control, project activity management).
  • Statistical process control (the definition of metrics and methods of their analyses, application of the statistical methods, monitoring of the selected process elements, registration of the statistical management data).
